THE ADOPTION PROCESS

  • Look at the gallery of cats available and fill out the application on the cat(s) of your choice. Be truthful in the application as we do look into references and items listed on the application.

  • Our adoption team will begin the application approval process by reaching out to the veterinary and personal references you listed in your application form. We will also conduct a virtual home visit of your residence. *Disclaimer* This can take up to 4 days as we are a small volunteer based rescue. Be patient with us!

  • Upon approval of your application, it will be sent to the foster families of the cat that you are interested in. We process applications in the order that they come in, based on the best match for the cat. The foster home for each cat you are interested in will review your application to determine if your home will be the right match for their foster cat.

  • If your family and the foster family think you could be a match, you will be contacted to set up a meet & greet with the foster home and cat.

  • Depending of the outcome of the meet & greet, you can make the decision to adopt at this time.

  • If you decide to adopt, we expect cats to go home that day. Adoption contracts will be filled out and fees paid. Transfer of medical information will happen as soon as possible.
